A: The Synergy Open 2023 tournament is a badminton tournament organized for players of all levels to come together and compete.

Q: Is it a Graded tournament? What’s role of Badminton Victoria?
A: The Synergy Open 2023 tournament is an OPEN NON-Graded tournament. It’s a non sanctioned Badminton Victoria Event with no player ranking awarded. It’s fully supported event by Badminton Victoria.

Q: When is the tournament taking place?
A: Saturday, 25th March 2023.

Q: Where is the tournament being held?
A: Kilsyth Sports Centre, 115 Liverpool Rd, Kilsyth VIC 3137

Q: How can I register for the tournament?
A: You can register by submitting the online form at https://www.revolutionise.com.au/synergysc/events/175813/ before 10th March, 2023. We will contact you for further details.

Q: Is there an age limit for participants?
A: No age limit.

Q: What is the format of the tournament?
A: It will be Men’s & Women’s doubles conducted with a round robin stage and knockout stages.

Q: What is the schedule for the tournament?
A: We will finish both events on the same day (25/03/2023).

Q: Will there be any refreshments or food provided during the tournament?
A: Organisers will arrange food trucks outside the stadium at reasonable cost for the food & drinks.

Q: Can I bring my family to the event?
A: You are most welcome to bring your family. We are arranging various family entertainments to engage your family and kids.

Q: Is there any dress code for the tournament?
A: No specific dress codes. But non marking shoes should be used in the badminton courts while playing.

Q: Will there be any prize money for the winners?
A: Winners will receive AUD 2000/- for the team and runners-up will receive AUD 1000/- for the team along with trophies. Semi & Quarter Finalists will receive medals.

Q: What equipment do I need to bring?
A: Quality shuttles will be provided. You have to carry your own rackets and your personal belongings.
